KNX USB Interface
The USB interface enables a data connection between the PC and the KNX BUS not only for ETS, for the purpose of addressing and parameterizing the individual bus users, but also for visualization, logging and diagnostics. Each software based on FALCON (ETS3, EITT ..) communicates with the connected devices via the UIMtp flexible Common EMI protocol.
Features / Benefits
Communication between the UIMtp and the devices connected to the bus is handled via the flexible common EMI protocol.
The UIMtp ensures easy software handling also under operating systems that the FALCON driver doesn´t support (e.g. Linux).
For specific diagnostic applications like EITT the UIMtp supports the "Raw Frame" operating mode.
Access to every bus device of the KNX bus system for: commissioning, addressing, setting parameters, visualization, protocolling, diagnostic operation
